NYC's new piracy law nabs first offender
Movie goer Kalidou Diallo caught secretly recording the Transformers movie was arrested and charged with "unauthorized use of a video camera in a theater." The first arrest under a new New York City law for pirating films. Apparently he snuck a camera into a theather in the Bronx ( Bet it was Bay Plaza) under his coat. Diallo was arrested after an officer seated behind him saw him raise his right arm after the film began. ( It's a crime to lift your arm in the movie theater?)After the movie ended, police found a camcorder "strapped underneath his right arm via a body harness." (Sloppy thief)
Anyway, bootleggers watch out. The Feds are out to get ya'.
