My promise to the Orble Community
I know that I haven't posted in ages, but I have been so busy with uni. Excuses, excuses - I know. But I can change, really I can.
But stuff that, from now on, if all I have say is hi, then that's what I will say. I know when I put up a new post that I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when someone actually lets me know that they read an appreciate my stuff.
So here is to not being such a slacker and to posting more, on this site and other peoples.

I promise to stop being so slack and serve you your dose of celebrity gossip with a side of sarcasm on a more regular basis. I also promise to contribute more to other sites because I currently read the posts and vote but don't leave a comment because I often feel like I have nothing to really contribute to the conversation.

Thanks for the support. I figured that if I cut back on the amount of legitimate stuff I do while I am at work, I can increase the amount of activity on my blog. Its a win-win situation. No one loses, well, except my work. But I will look exceptionaly busy while frowning at the screen and typing quickly. I don't reckon they'll even notice. It's all about compromise ladies.

You have echoed my thoughts. What you've written on this post is exactly my sentiments. I just wish I was your age. My life is drawing to a close. They can bury me in a cardboard box for all I care. I'm of no use to anyone. Not even Orble. I'm just an old woman in their eyes, writing about the things that interest me. Like the depression, and how tough it was. No-one wants to hear about what I went through, and how hard it is to post regularly when what I suffered during the depression would make concentration camp victims weep and say things like, "How fortunate am I?"
Us women have to stick together. I don't want to go into the details of what my husband was like. You're too young and it will only put you off marriage. Which is fine, if your ambition in life is to be a spinster, but you don't come across like that.
I just love this post. it's very brave and honest and open of you to admit your struggles with posting on Orble. It's hard to find people who care. But I do. I care. I want that written on my tombstone. Ann cared. Even for people she didn't know.
I'd better go. The kettle is boiling.
