Amy Winehouse's Promo People Suck
So it has been reported that Amy Winehouse has released a Live DVD entitled I Told You I Was Trouble. This is all well and good. Some people may enjoy watching her. "Why?" you ask. I have no idea. I personally would prefer to buy her cd and leave it at that. I like her singing, but the way she presents herself, not so much. But making fun of her poor taste and lack of class is not what this is about, that really deserves a blog of its own.
What this one is about is the extras included with the DVD in the "Double Trouble Pack". "What is it Rebecca?", I hear you ask. Well, it's a DVD with a pint glass and an ashtray. Yes, you read that right. Props to your marketing people, congratulations for exploiting the troubled girl's vices. Do they really think that it was a smart thing to do? What about the kids who go out and buy it, how are they going to explain it to their parents, or maybe they want to get their money's worth and use the extras for their intended purpose. Fantastic, thats all we need, a younger generation of Amy Winehouse wannabes.

I guess I really shouldn't be surprised though.
I am not 100% on what my beliefs are on Amy Winhouse/wino...as I have heard - but I don't agree with the ashtray and pint glasss - sheesh
